The Wombats had their 2nd consecutive GREAT PARTY in Buffalo the weekend of August 11-13th at Henry Hank's house. Especially welcomed were new attendees, Mike Jay, Matt Sassano, Rich Kopecky, and Jeanne Gittler. Numerous Wombat family and guests attended as well. The weather was perfect, the food and music good, and the stories great!

The Wombats had a 5 on 5 softball game at Diefendorf Field on the UB Main Street Campus Sat morning. Sorry to say, it was a pathetic display of physical decline-1 pulled hamstring, 1 pulled quadracep, 1 strained knee, 1 stained shoulder, and later, 1 torn finger ligament which required hospital attention (Jay-boy). Next time, the Wombats will choose between either shuffleboard or checkers.
